Zach's Baseball Season

This was Zach's first year playing baseball and he did great. He was the youngest on his team but he kept up with the rest of the boys.

Somehow they couldn't find a coach for his team so John being a great dad stepped in so with his little free time he coached team Walmart.

Zach has grown over the last 8 weeks he has been playing has picked up the game quickly. He has played many different positions, but has asked to pitch all season so in the last game John let him have his shot and he did great!

He pitched the last inning and held them off to win the game! They made it to the playoffs and Zach got to be starting pitcher. They played a good game but lost so that is the end of the season. We had a fun time watching Zach learn and grow over such a sort time. Great job Zach!!

Family Vacation

Last week we went on a much needed family vacation!
We found an all inclusive family resort called The Rocking Horse Ranch in NY.
Sorry but I put a lot of pictures on this post but we did so many things it was hard not to show off all the cool things we got to do!

We stayed 5 days and never ran out of things to do.

They had any sport you could think of to play. A few we did were mini golf, basketball, baseball, kickball, tennis, and more! Zach and Katie climbed the rock wall and the first time up Zach made it to the top!

They had an indoor and outdoor pool so we spent part of every day swimming. They had a slide inside and outside so even on the 2 days it rained we had plenty to keep us happy.

We all rode on the banana boat, but it was a cool and cloudy day so it was hard to jump into the water after the ride.

Zach and a boy he made friends with entered into to the paddle boat race and came in a close second.

Aaron is to small to go out on the horses, but they had pony rides and he had a blast doing that.

John, Zach, and I went on a horse back trail ride one day and it was a blast! Zach had so much fun he went again later that day.

All this and so much more all in one week that we never had to get into the car to do. They had different kinds of shows at night and Zach was picked out to be a helper at the magic show and he did a great job but we forgot our camera that night (of course) he had to rip up paper and then the magician make him a hat out of it pretty cool. We had a great time and it was nice to get away and spend time together as a family. John has been working hard in his new job and he spends 4 hours a day in the car driving so it was nice to see him all day long for a few days at least. Only 5 more weeks and he will have a few more days off, can't wait till then!

Newest Member

On Sunday May 30th Zachary was baptised into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

It was a wonderful day and we were so blessed to have a lot of our family come to be a part of Zach's special day.

My parents came from UT and my grandmother came from WA just to be with Zach on this day.

Zach has been waiting for this day and we could all feel the spirit so strongly. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day turn out so well. Congratulations Zachary we are so happy you decided to make this first step in becoming closer to you Heavenly Father.

It's great to be 8!

Tuesday was Zachary's Birthday and he is now 8!!!!

We had a party last weekend with some of his friends and had a fun time with them.

The next day was a warm one so we got out the slip & slide, and some tarps and made about a 20 foot slide and had a blast sliding down it.

We ended the weekend by building a fire pit in our yard. We had a lot of fun spending the weekend together as a family. Its hard to believe that Zach is already 8. He is such a wonderful boy and a joy to have in our family. He is a great big brother always trying to help when he can. Happy Birthday Zachary

Stuck

Last weekend we a rain storm that passed through and left some puddles around our yard. After the sky cleared the kids went out to ride bikes.

Aaron got stuck, but found that his tire kept spinning and he could make the water spray out behind him.

Of course everyone had to have a turn. After having a turn they all began to run behind the spraying water getting soaked.

In the end they had a great time and all ended up in the shower what a great way to get ready for Sunday!

Best Seats Ever

Last night we had a chance to go to the Red Sox game and we had a blast!

John got tickets from his boss at work and as you can see the seats were awesome!

We were on the 8th row back right behind first base, just to the right of the dugout.

We have never been so close before we could see all the faces of the players as they came out onto the field, it was amazing to really see the game happening and not have to look up the the screen to see who was making the plays.

We had 4 tickets so we brought Zach and Katie with us and they had a blast. Zach really got into the game while Katie didn't watch to much of the game but loved to dance to the music. We had a great time and shared a couple Fenway Franks together yum!!

It was a great game and we had a fun time together as a family what could be any better than that.
Thank You Coca Cola for the wonderful night we had a blast.

Happy Birthday Aaron

This week Aaron turns 4!!!

We had his party on Sunday & had a great time with only a few close family members there.

Aaron wanted a Micky party so I worked hard on making him a cake that fit the theme and I think it turned out pretty good. He loved it and that's all that matters.
He got some great gifts so thank you to our wonderful family.

It is somewhat sad to think that my baby is now turning 4. No more bottles or diapers for us so we are moving on to the big kid stuff. We are so glad that Aaron is a part of our family he is a wonderful boy. Happy 4th Birthday Aaron we love you very much!
