New Trick

Last week Katie learned a new trick. She is now a 2 wheel bike rider!

Within minutes she picked it up and has been getting better every time she gets on her bike. Our driveway is not the best kind to learn how to ride a bike on but she did very well and she is really good at turning sharp turns now. Awesome Job Katie

Happy Birthday John

Today John is the big 30!!

John is such a wonderful Father and Husband!!!

I'm such a lucky woman to be married to this wonderful man for 9 years now!

John is always giving and we are so lucky to have him in our lives.
I'm so glad that his now 30, my kids have been telling everyone for the past 6 months that I am 30 but dad is only 29. Now we are old together!

John has worked very hard for our family to ensure we have everything we are in need of. I couldn't have asked for more in a spouse. Thank You John for all you do and who you are to us. We love you very much!!!! Happy Birthday

Sprinkler

Our kids love to be outside and being in the water for them is even better.

One day last week it was 90 out, so we had to take advantage of this early warm weather. They had a great time running through the sprinkler, can't wait till we can do it again!!

Easter Update

This year with General Conference being on Easter Sunday it was a little strange not to get up and get all the kids dressed up to head out to Church. So last week we got the kids all dressed up for church and I think they all look great together!

Easter morning we saw what the bunny had brought us and had a good time finding eggs that were hidden around the living room.

From there we went to Johns parents house to have another egg hunt outside and another basket full of goodies, just in time to eat lunch together.
From there we went to Mem and Pep's house to visit with our extended Normandin family. We got to see a couple cousins we haven't seen in a while. We had a good time playing outside and visiting with family.

We had a great day together as a family. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter knowing that our Savior has done so much so we can be a family and we will always be together.

Spring is in the Air!

Last week we got a small taste of spring and it was wonderful! We had a few days of sunny warm weather and we took full advantage of it.

We are trying to keep our house as clean as we can so I put a lot of the kids toys in boxes to only get out once in a while and only one at a time so it was really nice to be able to be outside for a few days. The boys had a great time riding bikes and skateboarding.
We welcome this warm weather and hope that is will bring people out to look at our house now that the snow is gone, at least that's what we are praying for.

Listed

Our house is now listed and things are not looking so good. The average time on the market for houses in our area is 6 months (more like a year) and that is going to be a challenge for us. John has 2 more weeks working here in MA getting things in order for his boss and after that he will have to drive the 2 hour one way to CT every day. We are trying to stay possitive since our house has only been listed for a few days but we have not had any calls on it. We have never had a problem selling our house the last 2 times we needed to move, so we are keeping our faith and praying each day that someone will be directed our way. So we are asking all of you to keep us in your prayers so we will be able to sell this house.

Here We Go Again....

We are happy to share that John has received a promotion at work and he is now a Warehouse Manager for Coca Cola!!!!!

We are so excited for this promotion, it is a pay increase and better hours. On the flip side of things the job is in Naugatuck CT. It is about 30 miles south west from Hartford CT. It is a 2 hour drive from where we live now and for us it is to far to commute so we are now going to move again!

It is going to be a challenge to sell our house but we have had faith in making this decision and we know that this is where our journey on this earth is sending us. John will have to drive back and forth only staying over one or two nights a week until we can get our house sold so we are trying to get things in order to help speed up the process. John has about 3 more weeks here in MA to help his boss out until he has to become his own boss of his own warehouse. We are so grateful for this opportunity and we know that Heavenly Father has been watching out for us in this process. John is blaming me for this job because when we prayed about leaving UT to move back East I always thought we should have been in CT all along so now we are moving there and it's all because I started all this almost 2 years ago now. It will be a challenge for our kids to change schools again but they know that we have prayed about it and they have been very good about trying to understand.

So here we go again starting another chapter in the Normandin story, we will have to see what will happen next.
