Second Round of Trick or Treating

The kids were so excited after a long day of soccer that we were able to go trick or treating again last week!!!
We were the only family that showed up to go but we still had fun together with Grandma and Grandpa Shattuck.
Aaron got a glow stick that looked like a sword and he was so excited to take it out with us.
It was a cod night so we had to bundle everyone up under their costumes.
The Shattucks live in a townhouse so its nice to walk around without having to worry about busy roads to walk around.  There were not to many kids out so we got done pretty quick.
The kids all look turns passing out candy to other trick or treaters who came and they all had fun with that as well!
Once we got home the kids all dumped out their candy and traded what they didn't want with each other.  It was a very busy day but who can complain about getting candy!

Official End of our Soccer Season!!

Last Saturday was our official fall soccer season!  Katie had a game at the same time as Aaron, but Katie's was out of town so Aaron and I were not able to see her play and hence no pictures of her game as well.  The girls played hard and they ended up tieing 1-1 so not a win but not a loss either so it was a good way end the tough season.
Aaron played his best game of the year and the whole team tried hard but they ended up loosing 4-3.
This was the championship game for 1st and 2nd place so even though they lost they were still winners by coming in 2nd!
Aaron was so excited to get his very first trophy and a new soccer ball. He was pretty proud of himself being able to bring that home.
Grandma and Grandpa Shattuck were able to come and watch, maybe that's why he played so well since this was their first time seeing him play.
After we had some lunch we had to head out of town for Zach's game.
Its so amazing to watch him play.  He has really improved over this season and it is so fun to watch.  They played an undefeated team and they ended up tieing the game 2-2. We had a great season but now that the weather is getting cold I'm very glad to be done.
Great Job Zach, Katie, and Aaron it was a great season and we loved watching all of you learning and having so much fun playing!!!

Halloween Babies

Yesterday my sister in-law Heather had a c-section to deliver her twin boys.  She was only at 30 weeks but one of the babies umbilical cords was detaching and causing problems, so they had to deliver them early.
This is Franklin he is the bigger brother weighing 3lbs. 7oz.
This is Jack the little brother he weighs 1lb. 14oz.
Jack is the one who was not getting the nourishment that he needed but with all our prayers answered both boys are healthy!  They are both breathing on their own and have no health issues, except for being very tiny.
Today my brother Frank was able to touch the boys for the first time and that is an excellent sign. Its amazing how small Jack really is when you see him next to my brothers hand.  These truly are miracle babies and we are so excited to have them join our family.  With these 2 boys they make Grandchild 14 and 15 for my parents. My brother was excited how have the boys  on Halloween and now he has a Frankenstein and a Jack-O-Lantern in his family.  What a Halloween Blessing and we will keep praying that they continue to grow and stay healthy.  Congrats Frank and Heather!

Happy Halloween

We had a wonderful Halloween this year and because of the storm we get 2 days of Halloween fun.
Zach dressed up as a Vampire.
 Katie a Pumpkin Witch.
 Aaron was a Pirate.
Aaron has this awesome mask but decided not to wear it yesterday when we went out.

They all look so cute together.  The kids had a half day of school so they were able to come home and get ready without rushing like we usually do.  Halloween is Grandma Shattucks Birthday so we went down to her house and picked her up then went trick or treating at the mall.  Because of the storm The town we usual go out in was postponed till Saturday so there were a ton of kids at the mall and they were running out of candy within the first hour.  We all meet back at Grandmas house for pizza and Birthday cake.  It was a fun day and the kids got lots of candy.  Saturday we are going to go back to Grandmas and go trick or treating with her in her neighborhood.
