Month Long Vacation

My parents came to visit on Christmas day so they could be here when William was born and spend some time with our family.

Since Susan had William early we were able to spend a lot of time traveling around the State.

In all time times my parents have been here my dad has never been to Walden Pond so we stopped there and it was a very cold day but it was cool to see the lake covered in ice.

Our next stop was at the Boston Temple, such a beautiful building we have in our area.

From there we went to Harvard University the one place my parents really wanted to go on this trip. We walked around a little but is was really cold and windy so we couldn't hang around to long but we found a really cool bookstore and that made up for the cold.

We made a quick stop at the Charles River no boats were out but it was cool to throw rocks into the frozen river though.

Our last stop of the day was to the Boston Public Garden and we found the Ducklings. It was a fun day and it was nice to drive around Boston in a nice warm car.

Our last outing was for Susan's 21st Birthday and we went to Red Robin for lunch and then shopping and we got some really good chocolate. It was a fun last day out together. It has been a fun and busy month with my parents here but they were ready to go home and Katie was ready to have her room back again.

On the way home my parents meet Drew Bledso in the airport and were on the same plane as him pretty cool! We loved having them here and can't wait till they come back again.
