John took the week off from work so we could get some things done around the house and the top thing on our list was to get the huge bar out of our basement to make some more room for the kids.
The bar took up a lot of room in the basement so we couldn't wait to get rid of it.
We started by unscrewing the top and taking it off first.
Once we got about a thousand nails and screws out there was nothing else to do but start with the sledge hammer.
In the end it didn't take as long as we had thought it would and when we got to the floor it was only help on with a couple screws into a 2x4. We pulled them out and noticed that none of the tiles were even cracked.
Once all the pieces were out and the floor cleaned up we put the toys back out and there was so much more room than we thought there would be. We love being able to send the kids downstairs and now they have the room to play. Zach has even moved downstairs so this gives him the room for all of his stuff and we still have room for all the kids toys.
